Christopher Cox's project - Colin

I bought the car off of eBay for £27.01, tax exempt with V5 of course, it
had a good bonnet roof and rear but the floor and sills were shot but this
did not matter as I was going to cut out the floor anyway.

After this I started to collect the parts I would need
to build my new car. This V8 from a Rover P6 has been rebuilt by the
previous owner.

Then a jag rear with lsd from a friend of the bloke I
bought the car from. Converted to ford 4-stud nightmare!

MGB front clip, which I bought from the same bloke I
got the V8 from, then converted it to coil over and made it 4” wider and
moved steering gear brackets.
Here it is painted.

I made and pressure tested a small petrol tank with
Talbot horizon fuel sender to fit under 80 litre LPG gas tank.

I modified a Morris clock with a mini fuel gauge and
added low fuel light and indicator light.

I purchased a fibre glass flip front off eBay. I also
picked up some metro seats, steering column, servo, pedal box and so on.

And now I have started the not so small task of steel
reuniting!

To be continued....
